Today Caitlin and I made Mini Quiches together, which I really enjoyed as I love to eat Quiches but have never made them before. I also felt that Caitlin and I worked very well as a team as we helped each other when needed, shared the work load and gave advice or suggestions. The beginning process was to make our pastry (which was pre made but we had to cut the shapes out) into circles so they could fit not the baking tray. Caitlin had a little bit of trouble doing her 6, so I demonstrated and did one for her. Next we were to make the Quiche mixture, which consisted of; beaten eggs, cream, pepper and salt, we shared the work load by Caitlin consistently stirring whilst I added the ingredients. After we were both satisfied with our mixture it was time to start making a physical quiche (putting things in the pastry). Caitlin and I were both fine with this procedure, but made sure to keep reminding each other not to over fill the pastry so it didn't overflow in the oven. When the time came for actually cooking the quiches, Caitlin and I kept a very good watch on them so they were not to overcook or undercook (our guideline was 10mins). once we both thought they were cooked enough, Caitlin and I let them cool before removing them from the tray into our transportation containers to take home. We also made sure to clean up and then help others once we were finished.
